If you read my first post here on the blog, then I already gave you a small glimpse of where I’m at on my faith-based business journey.

This started out with me being led to create a prayer journal after I started studying the Bible and praying again. (You can read that post by clicking here if you want the whole story.)

That was almost THREE years ago now. Ugh! 😔

The prayer journal is basically complete.

I need to polish it up and then decide how I’m going to publish it.

I’ve been torn between publishing it via KDP and doing a better quality one (KDP would basically be a paperback journal) through something like Vervante.

That’s where I’m stuck. Making that ONE decision.

Where can I publish this journal that doesn’t have high costs (I want it to be affordable for almost anyone.) and where I don’t have to deal with printing and/or shipping them myself? That’s why KDP is so attractive. It’s very hands off!

While I’ve been sitting on that I felt a call from God to start teaching online business for those wanting to start a faith-based business. (Again, that’s all explain in my first post here.)

I’ve gotten that off the ground, launched two workshops, but haven’t done much with it past those two workshops.

I could just absolutely kick myself, but no worries. I’m going to turn this all around and take where I’ve failed and turn it into WINS! I mean God is rooting for me! I just have to show up and do the work, right?

Now, I still feel called to do that and I want to get back to that. But I REALLY want to get the prayer journal done FIRST because I made a promise to God that I would get it done, published, and promoted. It will also be one of the products I promote from my Christian blog WorksOfMyFaith.com That’s another project here in the mix.

As you can see, I’m trying to do too much at one time, so I am going to turn my focus back to this journal and get it done finally! NOTHING else until it’s done! PERIOD!

So that’s the first thing on this journey I’m going to be doing and talking with you about.

Creating and publishing a journal! 🎉

For me it will specifically be a prayer journal.

In my next post I will explain how this works. How you can create your own journals (or anything else you want to create and publish as a book), where I learned to do it, the tools, publishing options, etc. All of it!

It’s a great business model and if you’re wanting to do create a business where you can create things to help people AND make money this might be a good idea for you.
